Table of Contents

In the 1970s, the rate was approximately 13.1 per 100,000 women. In 2019, the rate was approximately 4.7 per 100,000 women, representing the lowest in recorded history. This decline is largely attributed to regular screening programs, early detection, and preventive measures like vaccination.
